His many years of experience has ensured that he has specialist knowledge in providing assurance services to a range of organisations including those in finance, education, healthcare, wholesale and retail trade, manufacturing and community services. He is also an experienced company secretary.

Audit and Assurance

Jamie undertakes assurance engagements for a large number of clients across a range of industries.

A specialised audit Partner, his services include external audit, risk management, accounting system reviews, financial reporting and technical advice, international financial reporting standards and corporate governance. 

Corporate governance

In addition to Jamie’s audit roles, he is an experienced company secretary. Jamie was the company secretary for an  ASX listed entity for many years, providing governance and financial advice during that time. He has served on the audit committees for a variety of entities including large state government departments in health and family services.

He is a former board member of the Nurses Board of South Australia, Repatriation General Hospital and Minda Housing Ltd and a former member of the Asset, Risk and Audit Committee of Minda Inc.

Forensic Accounting

Jamie has also assisted in the preparation of expert reports for litigation matters where these have involved audit-related issues. These matters have included the reconstruction and review of accounting records as a result of fraud, the analysis of financial records in connection with matters including corporate failures and the noncompliance with Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards.
