Maggie is a Manager in Nexia Edwards Marshall’s Business Consulting Services division.
Growing up in China, Maggie speaks fluent Mandarin and is the manager of our China business practice. She prides herself on having the skills and experience to deliver effective solutions to our clients. She fully embraces Chinese culture and language, and possesses the local knowledge required to help our clients understand and manage many commercial and country specific challenges facing them in Australia and China. In addition to these skills, Maggie has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders during challenging situations.
Maggie holds a Bachelor of Finance degree and a Master of Commerce degree (majoring in accounting) from the University of Adelaide.
She is also a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association.
Maggie has over 8 years of experience in the field of corporate restructuring, assisting clients with exit strategies, stakeholder liaison and winding up across a diverse range of industries.
With a strong understanding of cash flow and diverse experience as well as strategic mindset, Maggie assists her clients with the day-to-day operations of their business including cash flow management, budget analysis and business consulting, if necessary, working on exit strategies and winding up.
Maggie has the ability to provide clients with business compliance and taxation advice, ownership and structure set up as well as strategic planning to ensure we minimise the potential pitfalls of an unfamiliar financial environment.
