Chetan is a Director within the firm’s Audit and Assurance division. Chetan is a great communicator and excels at building strong relationships with his teammates and clients. He demonstrates strong leadership within the organisation, where he has the ability to develop, mentor and coach high performing teams. He has extensive financial statement audit experience across the UL and Australian practices with proven credentials in leading and executing public and private audits.

Experience

Prior to joining us in 2021, Chetan was an Associate Partner in Banking and Capital Markets with EY in London where he led the audit of Credit Risk on several large public and global banks and building societies. 

He was also the signing Partner on several financial services entities in the UK. As a Director, a key part of his role is to provide insights and Chetan regularly presents to C-Suite executives and Committees. He consistently demonstrates effective leadership and communication skills, sound technical knowledge in IFRS, strong project management skills and an ability to develop, mentor and coach high-performing teams.

Accounting Standards

Chetan has extensive financial statement audit experience with proven credentials in leading and executing public and private audits having worked in the UK and Australia.

Chetan has an excellent understanding of IFRS including a proven ability to work through complex technical accounting matters including, goodwill impairment, business combinations and inventory valuation.

Finance Industry

Chetan has worked on several large clients within the financial services industry, with deep specialism in IFRS 9, treasury, financial instruments and regulatory reporting.
